has its own carrying case has its batteries has a charger for the batteries has everything that you need for it does work I charged up all the batteries and I put one battery on it and it does work it just I did try it with the cartridge that goes inside of it for the VHS and I did record on it but I deleted it after I saw it cuz it worked and everything else
