the original bear did not come with clothing the people I got it from I guess added that. from what I researched it's a resin 10 female bear resting her elbow on a alphabet block. some had a ribbon that originally came with it and some didn't. they claim it's a door stopper because of its weight but most people decorate their house regarding with the ornament they're real big in there time. they claimed it was a cultural movement. there are also owned by four or five different companies through
