This item is discounted due to a few issues. The knob of this juice is damaged and broken and in order for you to turn it off, you will need to unplug from the socket. Also, the pulp extracted from the juicer will create a mess which will take time to clean up in comparison to new juicers. I believe this was a manufacturing defect as others have had this issue, but if you can bypass this, this is a good deal. The juicer still works fine, but just those two areas to be aware of.
